Jamie Segal Davis, Esq., Of Counsel, has been with Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa since January, 2005 and has focused her practice on complex family litigation, including but not limited to:
She is also a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and her role as a mediator naturally lends itself to finding a delicate balance between the compassion and zealous advocacy necessary to bring successful resolutions to her clients’ cases. Recognizing that not “one size fits all,” Ms. Davis looks to creative problem solving in order to address issues that face her unique clients and his or her families.
Ms. Davis has been active in the local civic, charitable and legal communities. Ms. Davis has served as President of the Miami Beach Bar Association. Ms. Davis has been involved with and was responsible for the charitable work of the Miami Beach Bar Association, raising thousands of dollars each year for the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ayuda, Inc. She is also active with Ghost Light Society, the young professional arm of the Broward Center for Performing Arts that hosts the largest arts in education program in the entire country. Further, Ms. Davis is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar.
In 1999, Ms. Davis graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a B.S.C. in journalism, and from the University of Miami Law School with a J.D. in 2002. Additionally, she was previously employed as a certified legal intern with the State Attorney’s office and was also honored as a James Weldon Johnson Institute Fellow in 1999.
